About

Alister McDonald has been involved in SME start-up businesses for more than a decade. In his role of finance manager, he has presided over ‘dogs’, ‘question marks’, ‘stars’ and ‘cash cows’. Regardless of the performance of any business, Alister has learned that planning, executing, measuring and repeating are all critical steps. Added to this, his knowledge and experience with management of cash flow mean that he understands its vital importance to any worldly endeavour. Alister became interested in property as an investment vehicle a number of years ago. After achieving some success in business it became clear that sound investments were required to ensure that generated positive cash flows could continue to provide benefits into the future. Like many people, Alister aims to achieve financial freedom through passive income and this will allow him to dedicate his time to educating and helping others with securing their livelihoods and dreams. Property represents a real asset created through real effort, while also providing a safe haven to a family, a business or a community enterprise. Alister believes that this results in property providing a store of genuine value. Alister has been a real estate agent in Melbourne, Australia for three years now and continues to develop his expertise in his local market. More recently he and his colleagues have researched US property markets and are active investors there. It is clear that investment in cash flow positive property presents us with one of the best opportunities to achieve any degree of security and financial independence. The opportunity currently available in the US is unparalleled during our lifetime and we see this as a solid foundation for a strong cash flow portfolio that will eventually diversify through other world markets as appropriate.
